Emilie Ceriez


Emilie Ceriez (°1982) grew up in Ghent, Belgium. In 2005 she obtained a Master’s degree in product design at the LUCA School of Arts. She started her career working for the Belgian lingerie company Vandevelde, known for their brands Marie Jo and Primadonna.


In 2010 she launched her own design company targeting the home and interior market. She has created many collections for several Belgian and international brands including Dome Deco, Flamant, Restauration Hardware, West Elm, and Weylandts. Her range of product designs includes furniture, glassware, tableware, and upholstery. She works with various worldwide suppliers whose specialization ranges from small handmade series to large industrial productions.


 


Emilie’s ambition is to create simple yet elegant objects with a great attention to details.


 


Emilie is also determined to pass on her passion to the next generation of designers and teaches “Product and Furniture” at the LUCA School of Arts in Ghent.
